Description

Cholera is know as flow of bile in Greek. There are two different strains of this disease known to us. There is V. Cholera and El Tor. This disease started in China and India, it was more serious in India than it was in China. After those two places it traveled west and made its way to america where it is still present. In Chicago 1849-1891 there were multiple outbreaks and pandemics, there is a total of 2102 people that died of this in 1849-1854. And in 1891 174 out of 10,000 people would die of this disease.

Recent Outbreaks

The most recent out break was in Africa. They have poor sanitation systems and are very poor in most parts of this continent.

Places that are likely to find this disease is places that have had a disaster happen in their area. This occurs because of the water getting lots of dirt and other substantiates that aren't supposed to be in there.
